Come and enjoy a day of fishing on Lake Erie- "The Walleye Capital of the World"

The revitalized Lake Erie is alive and well with crystal clear water, miles of clean sandy beaches, and some of the best fishing North America has to offer.

It doesn't matter if your a Professional Angler or weekend outdoorsman. If your fishing for your shore lunch or that trophy catch, or even practicing catch and release, the Western Basin of Lake Erie offers a huge variety of angling for all anglers alike. Huge trophy-size walleye await anglers who fish the "Walleye Capital of the World." Sure walleye, yellow perch, smallmouth bass, and steelhead stout are the most popular sport fishes, but there's plenty of other species that will offer hours of angling enjoyment. Catfish, white bass, white perch, freshwater drum, crappie, largemouth bass, rock bass, and sunfish add even more fun and surprises to a day on the lake.

Timing is everything, but when it comes to fishing Lake Erie practically any time of year is a good time to visit this freshwater fishing mecca. Ice fishing is very popular when winter temperatures drop enough to produce good safe ice; spring, summer, and fall, however, are the most popular times for anglers to take advantage of prime fishing conditions.
